A Few Feathered Friends
Birds have been a part of my life since I was a young boy and now later in life that simple fascination has grown into a deep love. So much so that they are now one of my favourite drawing and marquerty subjects. Not only is Australian bird life incredibility rich in diversity but we now know that it was the birth place of the worlds song birds. Knowing this makes them and their diverse habitats even more special.
As it is with all of my drawings these were all drawn on Bristol board archival paper. Generally using only four grades of graphite pencil 2h, Hb, 2b, and 4b. Below is a small collection of sold works, all of which and a few more are available as limited edition fine prints.
